Bis ins Jahr 2050 will China den Anteil von neuen und erneuerbaren Energien an seinem gesamten Energieverbrauch auf 45 Prozent erhöhen. Dies geht aus einem Bericht der Chinesischen Akademie der Wissenschaften vom Mittwoch hervor. Der Bericht enthält Forschungsergebnisse aus 18 wichtigen Bereichen wie Energie, Meeresressourcen oder Gesundheit der Bevölkerung. Laut Statistik machen derzeit in China fossile Brennstoffe wie Kohle, Erdöl und Erdgas über 90 Prozent des Energieverbrauchs aus. Durch die Erhöhung des Anteils von neuen und erneuerbaren Energien soll der Ausstoß von Kohlendioxid bis ins Jahr 2050 um 90 Prozent reduziert werden. |
