| Lamy dringt auf Abschluss der Doha-Runde |

Der Chef der Welthandelsorganisation WTO, Pascal Lamy, hat am Freitag kurz vor dem G-8-Gipfel in Deutschland auf dem Brüsseler Wirtschaftsforum an die wichtigen Mitglieder der Welthandelsorganisation appelliert, der Doha-Runde der WTO-Verhandlungen mit tatsächlichen Aktionen zum Durchbruch zu verhelfen. Ferner sagte Lamy in seiner Rede auf dem Forum, ein erfolgloser Abschluss der Doha-Runde der WTO-Verhandlungen wäre ein politischer Rückschlag. Die Doha-Runde sollte bald beendet werden, weil das globale Handelssystem zulasten der Entwicklungsländer in der WTO zu brechen drohe, so Lamy weiter. |
