| Gerhard Schröder: Deutschland wird China weiter unterstützen |

Der ehemalige deutsche Bundeskanzler Gerhard Schröder hat von Samstag bis Montag die chinesische Provinz Shanxi besucht. Dabei sagte Schröder, Deutschland werde China weiterhin unterstützen. Weiter sagte Schröder, nach dem verheerenden Erdbeben in Sichuan hätten mehrere deutsche Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen sowie deutsche Unternehmen und die deutsche Bundesregierung China große Hilfen gewährt. Die deutsche Bundesregierung habe sofort mehrere Hilfsleistungen bereitgestellt. Dazu gehörten unter anderem Zelte, Bettdecken und ein Feldkrankenhaus. Weiter sagte Schröder, Deutschlands Wille zur Unterstützung Chinas sei sehr stark. Als Freund Chinas werde Deutschland das Land weiterhin unterstützen. |
