| Weltbank stellt Millionenkredit für Wiederaufbau in Sichuan und Gansu bereit |

Das Vertretungsbüro der Weltbank in China hat am Freitag bekannt gegeben, dass der Vorstand der Weltbank Kredite für China in Höhe von 710 Millionen US-Dollar freigegeben hat. Damit soll der Wiederaufbau der Infrastruktur und der Bildungs- und Gesundheitseinrichtungen in den Provinzen Sichuan und Gansu unterstützt werden. Beide Provinzen waren im vergangenen Mai von schweren Erdbeben betroffen. Die Kredite sollen hauptsächlich für den Wiederaufbau von Straßen und Brücken dienen. Auch die Wasserversorgung, die Abwasserreinigung und die Müllbeseitigung sollen mit diesen Krediten gefördert werden. In Gansu soll zudem der Wiederaufbau der Bildungseinrichtungen unterstützt werden. |
