      In den vergangenen Tagen haben viele Politiker chinesische Botschaften oder chinesische Vertretungen von internationalen Organisationen aufgesucht, um den Angehörigen der Todesopfer des verheerenden Erdbebens in Sichuan ihr tiefes Beileid und ihre große Anteilnahme auszudrücken. Unter ihnen waren der japanische Premierminister Yasuo Fukuda, der Präsident Kolumbiens Alvaro Uribe, der pakistanische Präsident Pervez Musharraf, der französische Staatspräsident Nicolas Sarkozy, der Präsident von Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa, der Präsident von Simbabwe Robert Mugabe, der serbische Ministerpräsident Vojislav Kostunica, der ehemalige französische Staatspräsident Jacques Chirac sowie US-Präsident George W. Bush. Auch die Leiter einiger internationaler Organisationen, darunter UN-Generalsekretär Ban Ki Moon, WHO-Generaldirektorin Margaret Chan und IOC-Präsident Jacques Rogge, kamen persönlich zu chinesischen Auslandsvertretungen, um den Angehörigen der Todesopfer des Erdbebens in Sichuan ihre tiefempfundene Anteilnahme zu übermitteln. |
