Am 10. November 2008 kündigte das chinesische Handelsministerium in der 38. Bekanntmachung 2008 an, die Antidumpinguntersuchung gegen die importierte Adipinsäure (Adipic acid auf Englisch) mit dem Ursprung von den USA, EU und Südkorea (Zolltarif-Nummer 29171200)einzuleiten. Den Antidumping-Regelungen der VR China gemäß werden dabei dieses Dumping, ihr Ausmaß sowie die Schäden für inländische Industrien und deren Ausmaß untersucht. Die Untersuchung soll innerhalb von einem Jahr, nämlich bis zum 10. November 2009 abgeschlossen werden. Falls erforderlich, kann die Untersuchungsdauer noch bis zum 10. Mai 2010 verlängert werden.
