Am 12. Februar 2009 kündigte das chinesische Handelsministerium in der 12. Bekanntmachung 2009 an, die Antidumpinguntersuchung gegen die importierte Terephthalsäure (Terephthalic Acid auf Englisch) mit dem Ursprung von Südkorea und Thailand (Zolltarif-Nummer 29173611 und 29173619) einzuleiten. Den Antidumping-Regelungen der VR China gemäß werden dabei dieses Dumping, ihr Ausmaß sowie die Schäden für inländische entsprechende Branchen und deren Ausmaß untersucht. Die Untersuchung soll innerhalb von einem Jahr, nämlich bis zum 12. Februar 2010 abgeschlossen werden. Falls erforderlich, kann die Untersuchungsdauer noch bis zum 12. August 2010 verlängert werden.
